The ministry issued a statement Thursday condemning what it called the deportation of Ukrainian citizens in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. Ukrainian officials and human rights groups have raised alarm over reports of Ukraine’s citizens being deported against their will to Russia during the war. But Kremlin-backed officials instead said they’ve evacuated Kherson, a region of which Russia earlier claimed control, out of concerns for civilian safety. The forced relocations are occurring on the east bank of the Dnieper River in Kherson’s Skadovsky and Kakhovsky districts near other Russian-occupied territories, according to Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry....

Heading in to this game, I didn’t like the chances of the Clippers. They just got Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Chauncey Billups back last game and got trashed by the Miami Heat by 22 points. There was some concern that the Clippers wouldn’t be ready as their players would need some time to gel after coming back from injury. But all concerns were laid to rest as they went to New York and defeated the Knicks 102-88....

One man looking to make his return to international football when Malaysia take on North Korea on Friday, is none other one of the most consistent player in the M-League, S. Kunanlan. The Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) player has been a stalwart for his title winning club side and now looks to translate that form to the international level. Larson, who was running in front of Brian Vickers on Lap 47 in the Auto Club 400, cut a left-rear tire and slammed into the outside wall, but that was the least of his worries. The No. 42 car was turned and headed toward an inside retaining wall. Larson said he lost his brakes and was unable to slow the car down before crashing head-on into the SAFER barrier as his car lifted off the ground and turned nearly 360 degrees....
